Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Only article so far that does not sugar-coat it

It also mentions layoffs.

PepsiCo Inc. guarterly sales were flat, hurt by falling demand in North America for its beverages, but the company said it had ramped up cost-cutting efforts to protect its bottom line.

I agree...the "fat" never gets trimmed. How do you justify the huge productivity targets, blueprint that is cutting frontline sales pay DRASTICALLY, reduced health and other benefits consistently - - YET C-level gets exorbitant compensation, bonuses, stock $$$ - - standing on and SQUASHING the shoulders of those below them whose blood and sweat run this business. TRUE GREED!!!

How sad, sales, were flat, so the employees have to suffer. Why not cut exec bonuses/salaries to save jobs? I already know that answer
