Not even a chance to say good bye

What an awful thing to do. I’m more upset that it was a pack your stuff and leave, don’t say anything to anyone. Not even a chance to say goodbye. I would have loved to say goodbye to my UPS driver who has been incredible over the years and ya made my job so much easier. Wow. I really hope the employees left know what happened and aren’t given some b---s--- story that we “moved on to better things” or got another job or quit. There was only the store manager and one merch manager in the store when I left. Easy to make up some story.

THANK YOU. I’d been there for 10 years, couldn’t say goodbye to anyone, had the same great drivers for years, and just had to clock out and go. It’s BS

At my store they told us that the Head Cashier and Receiving Manager positions were being cut and that they had to lay off our people in those positions. So they probably told your co workers the same. Or else they’d be asking “when will we get a new receiving manager?”
