Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Give Indra some credit!

Why are people bein so hard on our leadership. These are hard decisions to make and there is no right way to handle such a difficult situation for them so maybe we should cut them some slack y'all.

If you want to defend IKN, go somewhere else and please do so. You are a PR media person. Agree she made good business decisions but she is NOT for the US or white male/female or even black male/female employees.

She sent an email way back basically showing how she treats her adminstrative staff and it sounded like it came from a man in the 50's executive culture. It was insulting.

We outsource AMERICAN jobs.

We work in FEAR of her.

Share that with HR (useless) and your compilation of Intel.

Your an idiot

she has one job, one job: to move that stock up faster than the overall market does... she's failed to do that...

people just dont like her.

maybe.

on glassdoor she has a 75% employee approval rating

Quincey over at CCC sits at 80 employee approval rating - so, there may be something there

i dont trust glassdoor anyway as they are colluding with employers, but still, the rating gap is obvious.

i am yet to find someone who likes her here

but this can be just me.

god bless and i hope you do will not be affected with the cuts

The stock is matching industry trend. It's a wash for me.

I'd say, ok - you've had enough time - you've returned average returns - it's time to leave.

Slack?? Lol typical woman posting. Well you should listen to your heroine Indra herself. You can't have it all! She got appointed president and all her mom wanted her to do was buy milk, cook dinner, and do laundry! lol

I’ll cut IKN some slack when she follows the paths of Steve Jobs and other CEOs by taking $1 in salary and the rest in options.

Let’s face it folks. Indra and all of the so called leadership have failed to grow the business. Blame the economy. That’s the Indra way. Her failed strategy, not the economy is to blame. This is what happens when you hire people that give in and say yes rather than people who could challenge her to achieving bigger and better things. FIRE INDRA!!!

Is that you Indra?!? Yeah there is a right and wrong way to lay off people and this is the wrong one! The 70 rule is dumb, because we need experienced people's experience; don't just slash near-requirement people "just because they may be expensive"....the rest of us need to learn from them before they retire. Also, how this has played out is dumb, because nobody will be productive this week because of the panic this caused and the parade of people you will be taking from conference rooms to the front door tomorrow....why not just close the office? Layoffs make sense when it comes to trimming fat (the underperformers)....but those that have built this company (regardless of their age), new hires that you hired for a reason, and everyone in between that are providing value should be left employeed.

WRONG. Why is it that leadership takes the credit when things go right and when things go wrong all of a sudden it's the economy, the working drones, or some other b---s--- reason? I've never heard Indra once take responsibility.

I don’t think people are being hard on Indra because of the layoffs. Its the mistakes she’s made that led to the need to lay people off

If they cut jobs, Trump will hold up a can of Diet Coke and shame PEPSI. So much for tax cuts.
