I have been making contacts and actually found a couple of things in retail. It is going to be tough until the industry stabilizes (oh Amazon, how I hate you), but it will not be impossible.
If I could, please, give some advice to those of you that stayed.
The first would be to work hard, and make your job count. Be the first to take on new responsibilities and try new things.
The second advice is - keep a postive mind set - do not sing deep into a depression and do not blame others for what's happening to you - take the charge and move on.
I wish you all the best and good luck on your job hunt, and for those that stayed keep the working hard. Make every day you come to work, because it can end in a blink of the eye.
