I was approached by ex-SLB about filing a law suit about work environment bullying, abuse and discrimination.
He/she was terminated just after coming back from stress leave and when requested to see doctor again, the HR manager told the person to get lost. the conversation was recorded on the phone without the HR knowing. There was verbal abuse in the meeting. that person and another person who had similar case will file the case in a couple of places. we were thinking about seeing who is willing to join. You have to have proof, emails, doctor reports. QUEST reports. the work environment in SLB bases is full of bullying and discrimination. It is probably time to raise legal flags. I listened to the conversation, the HR manager should have been fired but instead promoted. The law firm confirmed that the signed document about not suing SLB doesnot apply as the person was just coming back from stress leave and was not in the right mental status to deal with the situation.
