Based on her comments, 115000 US employees, 1% terminated is little over 1150 folks.
Focus is on corporate positions.
So about 1000 employees will be terminated. 700-900 from corporate positions.
Estimate was posted in another thread by @RImR5ZH-mdn. I'm leaning more towards higher end of one percent, but in any case this is close to the number we can expect.

in that case, it may be 2000 people laid off
I'm sure there will be more. My guess is that the 1% excludes those whom will be impacted by the rule of 70 to force some early retirements.
