I spend my day taking pictures of 4 foot sets, and retaking them when they change. Move something in the cooler? Let me get my graphic design on and create a whole new map. Tags left justified? Ohh some kid just dragged his hand along the shelf. You fail. Clipboards? Dates? Customer service..whats that?

OTS will be gone by the end of 2018. Too much bad media, outdated systems, etc.

Amazon will step in eventually and say enough. If sanity prevails

Everyone who walks the OTS has a different perspective to what the rules are. Your confused on what the true rule is and than you fail. Its pretty Black and White. But someone wants to fill important and says it needs to be this way.

It would not be so bad..if the whole thing was not so confusing and constantly changing to include more rules and more pettiness. Then the process becomes he said she said when something is missing or is done incorrectly. This should not be that hard, but it is made out to be more difficult than what it needs to be.

This whole thing was made to cause infighting and to get people to get frustrated and quit.

I'm hearing some grumbling from the regional ots trainers in a class about how much they spent implementing this sh--show.they were basically trying to justify its continued existence based upon the cost of the program..why would you keep an expensive half baked early 20th century system/methodology(clipboards,cute signs, holding power maps etc) instead of bringing in better data and integrated computer systems to help inventory, ordering, and product movement..that retailx register operating system cant track item movement in real time like the old program...and why do they have to announce the landlord walks over the intercom in the store or over the walkie talkies so every customer wonders who is the tenant and who is the landlord at the store they are shopping from??????

Probably just from what they have read in the media about empty shelves. The message from WFM leadership is that we are just going thru "growing pains" with OTS and that the shelves were empty for other reasons. To most people, the empty shelves are the least of the issue...that only got publicity because it affects customers. To most of us, the biggest hassle is the silly army-style details of filling out clipboards, worrying about tag placement being an inch to the left, or the 100% detail of a posted map that may change numerous times a day. Even though the scorecard is one-page, the multi-page instructions for that scorecard has tons of reasons for a FAIL if details are not perfect. The focus of everybody in the company is OTS...execution on the floor and the customer experience is completely secondary no matter what high-level statement has been spun to defend it.
