Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Who thinks they will actually get a Regional Req Asm position?

First of all, if you didn’t already do so, read what is posted on WalmartOne about how to transition. It contradicts a lot of what I was told in my meeting telling me I’m no longer a Co Manager. After thinking about it through many long sleepless nights I’ve accepted the fact that few, if any, Rstructured out Co Managers will be chosen for Asm positions. Every one in this same position should be job hunting elsewhere. If you do chose to attempt to be blessed with being chosen, apply for open positions, not just the Regional reqs. You may apply to up to 10 positions. You just have to answer YES to the are you a displaced associate question which probably puts the application in someone’s email trash. Good luck

I think the same favoritism and cronyism that has consumed this company (and been key to its failures) is strong at work behind who will end up getting what out of this.
