These corporate retail giants like Lowe's, are the pit. They could care less for you, or the general public. They are number crunchers only. If you are employed by one of these brutal monsters, you will have to deal with it. It will never change, and it could even get worse. Good luck to all.

Sure they can blow thier own horn about hiring 53000 but look how they can afford it after what theyve done to long time employees over the last 5 years. Looks good in the news
You are absolutely right about them wanting you to drop everything just to pull internet orders even if you are in the middle of a sale to a face-to-face customer. If they are going to focus on internet sales then they need a separate team to handle the internet sales so the on site customers don't get ignored.
They'll have to answer to a higher power one day. I was a sales specialist that was just let go. I've decided to go back to public safety. I called corporate HR and got a Jennifer. I always get last name if possible. She wanted to know why I wanted her last name and stated that she was the only Jennifer in corporate HR and that her last name started with "Y". Now, as a previous public safety officer, it wasn't hard to figure out that I was speaking to Jennifer Weber. With that said, you cannot even trust HR. Just leave, quit and move on. The store I worked at had so many ubiquitous and asinine leadership and safety hazards that I feel that they do not care about the employee nor the customer. IN FACT, if the customer walks into the store, they are second rate. Internet and phone sales come first!
They'll fail in time and you'll be happy after moving on as have I.
