Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Empty shelves

Empty shelves make shoppers angry. Who would have thought? Except, of course, anybody with half a brain.

Good to see things are working so well now that Amazon took over. /sarcasm

Ok but when will amazon take hold and clean house? Months? Years?

This is the predictable result of having a nothing-burger like Walter Robb stand around at ribbon-cuttings while making no real effort to update 30 year old crap technology. Then they brought a high-priced consultant on board as CIO and paraded him around the information and business media to create an image that something was being done. Amazon bought a $14 billion low-tech, mismanaged, nepotism-riddled disaster and pretty soon as a public company it will be forced to admit it and write off a massive chunk of that. This news in USA Today simply validates what we all know to be true: The train can't be repaired while it's in the process of derailing. It doesn't matter who owns it.

yeah this was a wholefoods and outside execs brought in to teach about s.o.p/o.t.s....amazon didn't cause this sh--...wholefoods was trying to sell the company and wanted to hide how much was really in the inventory to keep the cost analysis elusive..and it made it look like we were on top of things more than our outdated computer systems...lol...and bad regional logistics..

It is the idiots at global that have ran us into the ground. Amazon needs to take ahold and clean house. I am not ready to blame Amazon. These stupid decisions have been happening way before amazon came along.
