In a few weeks, instead of boldly asking Hock "What is your real price?", the Q board will sheepishly beg "please please please we'll sell for $70, don't leave!"
Presumably he’s set out his terms and to allow the board to not comply and continue will show weakness.
He’s sticking to 82 dollars (reiterated in his letter today).
If the board don’t accept and blue loses the vote, he’ll walk and watch the stock crash and the company struggle to cut costs and meet their promised goals.
