So, not having worked in the DC for several years, local donut shop gossip has it that the DC isn't receiving any new product. Shipping only what's on hand. Is that ugly donut shop talk or is there some truth to it? I Remember when the DC used to be practically bare after Christmas, but product still trickled in. (It's been a long time since I worked in the DC!)

I would like to know if the poster has ever posted a positive prediction about Cabalas or for that matter a positive comment about Cabela's. Would it be fair to state 100 percent of your posts or predictions about Cabela's has been negative for the last couple years.
No one posted those statements. If someone posted they the merger may not go thru you reword that to say they are saying the merger is not going thru. I have seen so many post from you every that every Cabela's employee nationwide would be fired after the first the year or every cabela employee Sidney would be fired after January 1 . The DC is not closing in Sidney. Purchase orders are still being written and sent to this location. Receiving is low because it’s February....no Cabelas DC are shutting down.
The press release stated the dc is staying along with IT and accouting

I question if the poster who stated there is not much inventory in the building is aware of the distribution at all. I think there are 26 buildings that has inventory in them at the DC. With his comment implying there is one building. I wonder if he is aware of the distribution center at all.

During the time when I lived in that little slice of ..... That community is ripe with rumors the juicer the better. I watched peoples lives destroyed by that idle coffee shop talk.
Time will only tel;l where and when this ends and how it all plays out.
The Receiving department has gotten a lot busier lately and there are so many new items which have started to come in at bass pro Cabelas. A few coffee shop rumors are good for laughs but try not to take them seriously.
