Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

This is part of the problem ... GE still being recognized for doing nothing

Irony of ironies ... A GE Treasury Executive received an award for Global Cash Management, a Corporate Recognition award at Treasury Management International (TMI) annual awards. Really???GE knows how to manage its cash?

Ah yes, GE cash management. When GE sells perfectly collectable receivables to itself for 98 cents on the dollar, and the receivables in question aren't even verified because the IT landscape at GE is so fractured and patched together that the final "receivable" number each month/quarter is top lined and "adjusted" based on what management "thinks" it should be.

Was the award for best shell game?

What a joke. Wonder how much they paid Treasury Management International to get the award?

Considering the massive stock plummet resulting from the SEC investigation and Insurance needing a sh-- ton of cash. Yeah totally. GE knows how to handle money.
