Is it true that SM's will be hourly?

I stand by my posts and also the fact that SALES MANAGER JOBS ARE NOT GOING HOURLY ! Those announcements about executive reductions have already been made and stores know who stays and who goes. Hell, might be nice to get that OT like the sales supervisors do.....how many of you work 50 hours or more a week now as a manager making sh*t wage which ends up being 8-9 an hour once it’s all said and done?
People, people let’s all just agree that this company is a 5 alarm dumpster fire...
In fact here is the site... copy and paste your law because I can’t find it
https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/hrg.htm
Obviously your the type that thy need to let go... think you know but have no clue
Really, how does it violate FLSA? It happens more then you know! They can make you
Hourly and pay you the same on an hourly wage! The difference is they have to pay you overtime! 40 hours otherwise overtime boom! Do some research brah... Sears took exempt AP managers and made them hourly. Guess they broke your law too... funny how many companies broke your law... def in denial
ha ha @R5WXIgn-1bjt is in denial. You are correct that the company is smarter than to break the law. That's why they'll simply eliminate those jobs and then post hourly ones. Problem solved.
well if TJX did it I hope they did it within the law. There's a reason people are either Exempt or Non-Exempt and you CANNOT just switch between the two without a restructure of the job. IT'S AGAINST FLSA to do so. Macy's is smarter than that !!!!!!
Macys can change how someone is paid absolutely! You can’t have someone who has direct reports and make them hourly. TJX did it to a bunch of jobs last year and made them hourly! It’s been done!
NO. No change to SM's current pay structure. Remember pay grades are determined by FLSA guidelines...read here. Macy's cannot just change the way someone is paid just because they want to. The job structure would have to change and meet certain criteria which would make a change required by FLSA.

The reason the exempt people have been showing up in MSP without a schedule FOR MONTHS has nothing to do with all the rumors.
Folks need to calm down right now. All the rumours are no good for everyone !!!!!!!!!!!
