MTM and visual job

Does the Mtm and visual job merge or do they become leads because operators are now back in stores??

Am I the only one reading between the lines of the VM manager position 25Mil and under losing staff and next will be losing manager title?? Looks like the position is being setting up to turn into all 25 Mil and under to visual leads position or do people really believe they will keep Visual managers in such small volume builds. Looks like a next year cut. Just like what happened to HR set up an new strategy than cut people the following year. Also looks the same for the MTM position. Smalls store are losing executives fast.

R5R7Z2E-2qfd, that is an excellent point about Leased businesses. I forgot to eliminate them in our annual sales. We have a lot of Leased partners, and with each years declining sales, we are getting dangerously close to the magic $15M. Thanks for the reminder. Need to drive some sales!

Vis. Leads stay under 15mil. Visual Manager stay 15 mil above, but there are staff cuts, the VMs will be single with stores under 25mil. However take in count if your a big lease door your profit is reduced by them. Which means if you think you are a 25mil door, and lids takes 5mil, bang you are now a 20 mil door. So know your numbers, have a plan, keep motivated, drive your biz, and make sure your store makes money.

I am an MTM and I must admit that I am surprised to hear that there are MTMs out there that don't do everything listed in the post below. I guess it must depend on where you work.... I partner with Visual daily; we work together when applicable. My DVP encourages a strong relationship between MTMs and Visual. He always says he can tell when he's in a store where MTM/Visual has not collaborated. I still have to do all my OPs responsibilities but there is no way I could execute the entire store without my Visual partner.

MTMs and Visual not merged. MTMs still need to be taught how to wallscape, not to put ballet bars and tstands around columns,

use matching fixtures, not but product in aisle, colorize, use the damn zog, merchandise vs throw sh-- out onto the floor, colorize, special fold, get their own fixtures, and understamd that they set the fixtures and merchandise for a project...

did i forget anything?

I am a visual lead. My boss (DDV) called me today to inform me that I was not eliminated and that I still report to and am managed by the DDV.

Read the previous posts. Visual managers remain in stores 15m and over. Visual hourly associates cut in all stores up to 25m. Visual leads remain in place under 15m. Not merged with MTM!
