Here we go again folks. Just received notice that the February layoffs are a go. Have not heard a final date or levels to be impacted. Just February. Info source is solid. I hate to say it but we should all brace ourselves and prepare for a bumpy road ahead. PepsiCo gets a tax break and employees get the shaft. This is how the “Indra Club” gets richer every year. Screwing the people that make the business work.

Any news of the re-org announcement and impacted divisions/departments/locations?
I heard the B4 SVP of Franchise for NA has retired and his team entire is being dis-mantled and being rolled into PBC Regions, which includes any Foodservice Field Representatives.
As a consumer, Who wants to buy unhealthy soda's and the Caleb Cola and other products in 2017 cited in earning reports as "missing their mark" are just the tip of the iceberg in a category that has been on a death spiral for the past decade.
PepsiCo: Fire the "Old" lieutenants in "Sales", "Marketing", and "R&D" staff by replacing these dinosaurs to employing more of the "Millienial" and "Z" generation(s) that your not winning.
More strategic, ditch the carbonated soft drinks business and focus on your winner: Frito.
Think you should all call in sick this week. They can't force you to come in if you are ill. Who are they to tell you to come in. Where is there respect for you. Get together as a group and call out!
It's because every f---ing thing is handled by a third party data center provider cough HCL cough
Equally hilarious (because we're all about equality, right?) this all takes place the day of The Forum.
Drink a ton of Pepsi and make Nooyi richer, chumps.
Minnie late to the party lol
Really minnie? I hadn't heard...
LAYOFFS AT PEPSI TUES-THUR THIS WK
Plano will be the most impacted
“Just received notice”...yea right. If you were in a position to “receive notice” you sure as heck would not be posting here!

In case the image does not come through, its a can of Diet Pepsi. Hard to imagine writing off a Billion dollar brand.
Any ideas on org structure changes?
Reorg will occur after Super Bowl and prior to earnings release.
The IT Sustain organization is going to managed services. IT Ops will be reshuffled and headcount will be shifted to Poland. Services will be consolidated to strategic providers. Not sure what will happen with InfoSec, but they already have an obese org that is largely incompetent and can't do anything without hiring contract labor. No idea what all those folks even do, but PwC will provide staffing for the foreseeable future. Likewise with the BRM orgs. FLNA and LATAM don't have BRMs at the moment. All those people "shaping demand" are going to need a good reason to justify their existence. B2s+ are dropping like flies.
Frito is going to cut region offices to be more inline with the PAB structure, so lots of people impacted there. PAB is going to cut any fat they can to try and remain profitable.
I also heard Feb.13 to be the date. In competent senior management throughput PepsiCo.
TaTa? Isn’t this another India based company? Seems to me Indra is using PepsiCo as her own little “piggy bank” to support India. So much for diversity and inclusion. I keep saying it. FIRE INDRA!!!!
TaTa is the new managed services vendor replacing Cognizant on the application side. Where are these rooms booked? Purchase? White Plains? Chicago? North Carolina? Plano?
Today. Relocate or goodby
It is actually 4 rooms booked for two days solid on the 13th and 14th...check the packaging building rooms too
HR just booked 3 conference room for 2 full days in Barrington. I know this isn't a guarantee, but is definitely suspicious.
Info source solid? Share the details!
PBC Denver/Chicago Operations Next Week.
I am not the original person who posted but I have heard rumor of IT Sustain changes coming starting with at least one new Managed Service Vendor who has yet to be revealed.
Yeah obviously you need to share more details.....otherwise useless info.
OP don't post frivolous spam without posting what areas/levels of PepsiCo are in scope.
What areas? Frito? IT?
Any more informaton on this??????????
