You can't say we will leave(not true) most of us that have been with the company for years like 20 plus will ride it out !!! We all work hard for this company and love are jobs, but it's hard to come in every day with a positive attituded and with what ever management we have left and they really don't give two sh**s !!!! you have ignorant key carriers to the customers and employees what ever happen to customers first ? You have customers calling the hotline complaining about these key carriers and still nothing happens ... whatever happened to professionalism and common courtesy and helping the customer that we were always taught to take the customer to the item. These key carriers think that they're above that and don't even try and talk to the customer so sad our company has come to this

Not all key carriers are bad. I happen to be one and I am also the Data and Pricing lead. I have been with the company for 41 years and it is really sad the way things are going. Sure would be nice to have the company the way it was back in the good ole days. In my opinion buying Sears was a big mistake.
Eddies post xmas excess merchandise liquidation and liquidation store closing sale will be happening soon. It always comes after the new year like clockwork. How many of us veteran employees are going to be around in a few weeks to stop theft?
Most of our key carriers have been here for a decade or more, and are honest and hard workers. The newest one was hired as part of the labor readjustments, under one of the supervisor positions. I really have no idea what they do all day, though I've seen them hiding out in an office they have no business using, or playing on their personal phone in the manager's office. They go out of their way to avoid calls. I'm not going to accuse them of doing anything necessarily unlawful, but I've been surprised by some of my past coworkers who turned out to be stealing quite a lot.
Crazy the key carrier in are store is buddy buddy with Lp I wonder what is going out in the book bag ??? But no one seams to care,so sad we have trash over seeing are stores!!!!!! Because they want to save money ......
One of our responsible key carriers walked out the back door of our store with 4 bags of eddies merchandise to smoke. I witnessed it but the cameras didn't see it. So it didn't happen according to our district lp and our store manager. Apparently we don't have working cameras in our 70's dated kmart with its black moldy ceilings and asbestos floors. Can't wait to see what goes out the back door next. Maybe a bunch if Funai tvs left over from the great days. She will make a bundle on them to support her drug habit.
Or the key carrier in my store who disconnected cameras in the fragrance aisle so she could help herself while doing recovery, hiding hundreds of dollars of product in carts with stuff that had to be damaged out. Then pushes the carts into the outside patio, where she also disconnected cameras so "everyone could go out and smoke" when they wanted to. (This is where she became hero of the staff.) Bagged up stuff there and opened the patio gate so her friend could push it to her friend's car, knowing it would just look like a customer on security footage. Repeatedly did this. She was also friendly with AP and had access to the camera room.
Shows that a lot of people don't give a sh-- anymore. From the top downwards they know this company is going down the sh--ter.
Corporate doesn't care. We have key carriers who openly bait customers into getting mad, and then lie to the DM when the complaint comes in from the call center. We also have key carriers who steal from 605, purposely hide pending clearance items in layaways so they can purchase the merchandise at 90% for eBay sales.
Oh please. It's really hard to be nice to the trash that comes through our doors these days.
Key carrier in our store didn't know how to do a Western Union, got frustrated and made a remark to the customer that she should get a bank account at the bank in the same shopping plaza. Customer called the hotline then and there, they took her name and address to send her a gift card. Store management team was never advised of what happened. Usually corporate follows up with the store to see what's up.
