Does anyone know what the layoff numbers are in Greenville, Manufacturing/Engineering or otherwise? I see the sheriff outside the manufacturing building so it’s no longer “fake news”.

I was surprised at the number of global power resources cut in places like Poland, China, Mexico. Sorry to say but more cuts will occur in 2018 unless the sales team cannot get out and turn two. The good news is that key resources were saved. But is goes to show you you best stay tight with your upper management. Kiss a$$ school does not hurt until you find a job.
How many more positions moved to China, India, and Mexico? I had to train 7 people in those countries to take over for me.
Greenville PDE (drafters) impact has by and large been minimum. One from HGP, several from Combustion, none from the Compressor team.
The designers for the next 7HA__ program is being assembled now, so when 9HA02 & 9HA01 are finished up, what other programs are there?
39 total salaried workers in manufacturing/operations. Not sure about engineering. 30% of salaried workforce. Those affected were quality engineers, production supervisors, a couple maintenance, a couple managers as well. There were also salaried employees that voluntarily resigned and didnt accept the offers that were given to them.
137 salaried jobs were cut in Greenville. I am a manager and that's the number they told us in the briefing we were given ahead of time. A number of additional contractors were let go also. They wouldn't tell us that number but the total is estimated to be around 250 including both sets of cuts this month.
It is about 130 people affected in Greenville during this round of layoff.
