The rebound seen at physical stores today is really interesting to watch.
Store traffic will probably still be weak for the season for many department stores. But there is momentum at stores around the country today.

Organize your clearance sections instead of shoving them on a rack all mixed up.
You should attempt brand get togethers for customers during the Holidays. Have a brand manager who works for the company actually get involved by highlighting the trends of the season. Get a coffee sponsor to host the event. So basically you would be combining not only clothing, but your housewares as well.
Re: Amazon/Macy’s.... Kohl’s beat us to the punch. Certain Kohl’s locations are accepting Amazon returns and some are also showrooming Amazon products. I do feel that there could be more brewing between Amazon and Kohl’s... we’ve already seen Amazon purchase Whole Foods.

poor staffing and disengaged associates are hurting the results. verbatims consistently call out lack of staff. When will anyone see that we must better staff stores? Need more supervision as well. When i shop other Macy’s stores I see so many associates unproductive while the store is a mess and customers need help. We’ve reduced management and staffing too much.
I am not certain where you are located. While November was outstanding, December has started horrible. F&F sale has been a big bomb. I am hoping we rebound (my store) December weeks 3 and 4. This week has started off awful

You're posting in the middle of the night, maybe 2am EST that there is "momentum" at stores today?
For starters, you must be an Exec to have real time info like that, nobody less than a top Exec would know that and I doubt VERY much a top Exec is posting here.
Next. What is "momentum"? Do you mean higher sales? If so, state the numbers and growth, albeit for one measly day.
But in reality, I think this is 100% fake news and you're smoking a fatty at 2am dreaming of what could be in hopes of not losing your job in 4 weeks when Christmas is over.
