numbers we are seeing are huge... what happened to warn? aren't they required by law to submit it ahead of layoffs?

It’s the end for GE
GE intentionally avoids the WARN notice. This reduces negative media attention and information they have to provide. GE avoids the WARN notice by spreading layoffs over time. GE always has a layoff cycle so it's very convenient to spread out. Layoffs are the only thing Executives produce at GE. So at least we can't say executives don't produce anything.
Maybe they don't hit one third in each of the locations.
