Been worried that my job wasn't eliminated yet. Two new supervisor positions were created, hardlines and softlines, but I'm still here..Is it based on sales, volume. Just curious how safe I am..

We had the same positions open up a while ago, but we still have an ASM. The hardlines position has yet to be filled, and the softlines supervisor is basically useless. They almost never actually work in softlines, refuse to answer most calls until someone calls them by name, and spend a lot of time playing on their phone (not the store iPhone) in the manager's office. I suspect that if we weren't so desperately short on any staff at all (nearly all of the register operators hired in the past month just simultaneously jumped ship for a competing store) they wouldn't be long for that job.
When it comes to Kmart your job security in general is not safe.
