Can GE Survive - Company Break Up Likely

With the present shape GE is in after years and years of bad management that has destroyed its traditional business competitive position, and sold off the cash cow empire of businesses to hide its real state, how can GE survive?

Where will it get cash flow from?

How can it rebuild its former self?

Will investors and Nelson Peltz let this go on for 3 to 5 years to be fixed?

Its all about the cash

Bad management has destroyed GE cash flow it used to have while costs of bad decisions have ballooned

Break up is looking more likely and the drum beat from fed up share holders is getting louder, sorry to say.

All corporate execs are about themselves, cash and stock. They are WS bankers. The more they sell, the more people they get rid of = more cash for themselves. It runs out after some time. It has run out at GE. GE has been doing this for 20 years. Jack Welch had a lot to work with and was good at it. He hated manufacturing. Immelt was not smart, Jack was done and he didn't care who took over after he left; biggest butt kisser. GE hasn't wanted to make anything for 20 years, GE can survive as a small holding co, but not sure they can avoid bankruptcy first.

Once had local GE plant in my community. The thing that struck me was the number of managers that was at this facility. They all made fabulous salaries. Their level of responsibility was not very demanding.
