Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

still too top heavy

how are we still so top heavy, even after the latest layoffs?

has anybody seen a more useless restructuring when it comes to solving the real issue?

instead of helping solve the problem it was supposed to solve, the whole restructuring shuffled people around that it should have gotten rid of, and ended up costing us people we actually needed...

so we now have the same problem we had before, but we also have fewer people who know how to do things and a bunch of newbies replacing them who have no idea what they are doing...

logic, the schlumberger way...

Some people will always remain protected as “they know where the bodies are buried”.

Too heavy top, too old top, too fat top, too useless top.

Challenge me, give me an example of slb achievement since 2016.

Why slb is afraid of liberating managers and non productive businesses?

If transformation is working then why still we have so many managers? And why the hell I have 14 managers to PK level.

Why my sales manager knows nothing about field operation and is never seen a wireline truck or d&m unit or never been in shop ?

Why he hardly show ups in office and I have too spend holidays and weekend in shop cleaning tools.

Why his last year pip was 3x my annual income ?
