Concierges are being laid off.
They tried the "Metro SSI" thing in our area and it failed. Too many different platforms, too much maintenance, too many one-off setups and not enough time. They also thought they could replace me with one person to cover two stores and that failed too. One of the big problems (besides zero consistency in technology from region to region and store to store) was that regional was hooked on price changes. They send down numerous price changes every day, often stumbling about making more mistakes in the process. Right about now Bezos is cursing himself for buying into cute signage, track lighting and million-dollar displays of oranges in a pyramid. Peel away the curtain and it's a morass of crap. So glad to be out of there and I just enjoy stopping by to hear how nothing is working and nothing will work until the top 300 or so unqualified "leaders" at global and regional (and their unqualified hookups, boyfriends, girlfriends and college roommates) are handed their walking papers.

Is Sss part time 20 in all regions? I’m in the NA and it is Pt 20 here just curious about the other regions.
I agree and I'm a SSS. Teams should be self sufficient now. Check SLAW, dates on tags and use Data Monster. Orchard replaced the SSS and any team member can do now what a SSS does on a daily basis.
No, I can see that being cut very soon too. We are leaning towards teams being responsible for their own tag maintance as well as any tare issues. Everything else can be handled by the metro. Id say sss goes before ga and I give them both till maybe February... yall will probably get the notice after turkey day. Gobble gobble
SSSs conduct weight audits as part of their job. Ours finds issues all the time and gets them corrected before the weights and measures dept or everclean does. I guarantee there is product somewhere in your store that was tared incorrectly.
How does your SSS take care of tares? What maintenance is required for that. Tags I can see.
Most company’s have someone in an SSS type role I imagine that position will stay. From my experience as one most of the teams do a horrible job with tag maintenance and Tares. WF would be foolish to dispose of that role. Would leave them open to get hammered with fines with all the mistakes that are made.
