Keeping thinking layoffs are over, that makes you appear as stupid as the Windstream managers making the decisions

So.. are you a dic_head?? A Windstream Mgr?? A mole?? You post that they hired..less than 10 recently, but layed off over a 1,000 and it's a wash?? Layoffs are over? It's gone from layoffs every1/4. To every month since July 2017 that. Can tell. Broke, heading towards bankruptcy..aka brokeruptcy. Even Stevie Wonder can see where this is headed.

Dont drink the kool aid is right. I've seen them hire in Charlotte & turn around with layoffs right afterwards.

Please dont drink the kool-aid they have been reducing constantly as their stock continues to drop. No telecom company out there has $2 stock and not been bought...our debt is sooo high the buying company would immediately be in the red. You can think positive just like all the folks who got the boot tried to. Bottom line look for another job proactively dont just sit and wait and look surprised when your number is up!

They are hiring people, for less cost, and getting rid of the talent, that costs more.

"I hear the layoffs are over! word in twinsburg that they are done, at least for now."

This is my post. I based it off the fact that we recently added 2 new hires to the IT HELPDESK, They were contractors and were hired fulltime. So if we are reducing staff why would we need more Helpdesk staff? Also seen at least 12 new positions filled called 'station installers'? TWINSBURG hired 2 new IT Project Managers back in OCT, under J Chapas. PA hired, kittaning/export area added 2 new CST, bargaining unit. I do know that we thinned the herd to the tune of around 1000 in the past few months, but we seem to be hiring as much as laying off.

Yeah I'm laughing too. Who told you that? They haven't stopped since this time last year. Last year Nov 1st, then volunteer seperation layoffs in Jan,again in March, then again in May, July, Sept and some this month. Be prepared. Take your good stuff off your desk & keep an empty box ready
