Thread regarding GE Power layoffs

DENIAL WONT SAVE YOUR JOB

All you confident hourly workers who really believe your jobs are safe with the condition this company is in are in total denial. They will use you all like they've used everyone else. To push their damn product while staying calm and focused but trust me you will be getting the layoff in 2018. There is just no way around it at this point. If you are smart do what the management team is doing and look for work at a company that isnt in huge financial trouble. No need to be bitterbut this company is just not what it used to be and probualy never will be, at least not in the near future. And this my friend is NOT fake news.

My prediction for upstate ny and Greenville is a 30-35% hourly workforce reduction around the June of 2018 timeframe. They have a goal 30% reduction that is salary and another 30% hourly.

Actually not a disgrunted salary see I left GE years ago and opened my own business. So you see at the end of the day this dosent affect me. I worked at that company for 20 years and this is the worse position I have ever seen. Wake up. You'll.wish yiu had when they're walking you out the door soon.
