I read every freaking post on Barrons, Reuters, WallStreet Journel, and etc. all they say is, Broadcom be able to resolve the issues which Qualcomm can't. These include Apple royalty, rest of the world royalty disputes, and includes regulatory approval.
I understand that royalty will be chopped off by half to make Apple and rest of the world happy (given broadcom acquires qcom) but how regulatory? Does that mean regulatory people are good friend of Hock Tan? Or is it money talking?
What apple is portraying: "I will robe your technology and use it, go to hell with your contract, I will pay what ever I want OR I will let you suffer in court"
Very interesting to see, Apple who has never in cellular market till 2007, and suddenly swoop in and make pioneer of cellular technology go out of market in just 10 years (who made 30 years of worth efforts to get to where we are). Salute and clap to Apple.
