CGG hierarchy and Division heads largely to blame for not integrating all the lines together properly. Attempt to sell of Airborne component and not integrate it with the rest of Geoscience also foolhardy, when clients are screaming for streamlined, integrated workflows and solutions. Philosophy over practicality and pragmatism.

I agree with the first post. Brilliant sarcasm; thank you. Whoever you are you are in tune with the ridiculous charade this whole thing is. You have found the true value - entertainment. The shareholders are so disinterested in in CGG stock that they simply could'nt be bothered to vote the first time round (or they protested). Shareholders get nothing if CGG goes under so it shows their strength of feeling (or apathy). But they also know that the free cash within the full $500m (some has to be protected for the 2nd lien note holders) will be gone in no time and they will be back to square 1 in mid 2018.
I think they will be cheered up by your post!
Hey Jean-Georges, great to see you posting here. Nice job keeping the company in such great shape. Brilliant is an understatement !
Get a dictionary, look up the word brilliant.
Understand it, feel what the word means.
What management and HR achieved falls a long way short of brilliant and they should hang their heads in shame for how a brilliant company and its employees were nearly destroyed and mistreated respectively.
I would love to see the company rebuild to its former brilliance and develop new brilliant employees.
To successfully achieve this you must first discard those who created such disappointment. The aforementioned management and HR else you have only earned a brief stay of execution.
