Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Kitchenaid

Kitchenaid is a Whirlpool product, why do we have plenty of Kitchenaid in stock? We got a pallet of Mixers, Food Processors and blenders in this week.

I don't get it?

All Whirlpool-owned large appliance brands are affected: Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Gladiator and Amana appliances are no longer available except for what is still in our warehouses and on the floor.

"Sears lost Whirlpool labeled products only."

That's not correct, according to the other things I've read. Sears lost all LARGE appliances manufactured by Whirlpool for all Whirlpool-owned brands. They were all removed from the Sears website, and stores can still sell what they have but won't be receiving any more of them. Whirlpool is still manufacturing for Kenmore because they have a different payment structure on those. Sears also lost Gladiator garage organization products, which is another brand owned by Whirlpool.

Sears lost Whirlpool labeled products only. Those manufacture under another label such as Kenmore or Kitchen Aide were not affected.

Yes exactly.....enough was purchased to ensure all is okay for the holiday period. All is good. There are so many over reactions to news such as the Whirlpool announcement. It doesn't mean we won't have product.
