Thread regarding International Game Technology layoffs

8 Billion In Debt

Yes, that's what IGT is working with. And how are we going to get out of it? Who knows, but Marc Sala is going the lay off everyone, cut cost every where route which makes you ask; why did you buy the company in the first place? What's the game plan? How do we attack said debt when we are clearing the ranks of true talent? The layoffs that I have witnessed make no sense unless they plan to sell Systems and run away. Development, gone. PA, gone. QA, gone. Evolve, gone. Global Support, gone. I'm sure my department is next as there's really no one else to do it to. I've already started to slowly gather anything of value so that when it happens I can take my check and leave. It is truly ridiculous.

Many companies employ a strategy which ends in the demise of the business. Welcome to the Wall Street run economy, where buying a company for the express purpose of loading it with toxic debt, then IPO'ing the company using "Non-GAAP" accounting before it implodes.

Whole plan is to extricate the wealth, then do it again with debt, then sell it to unsuspecting investors.

Yes, thats the plan since 2009, but they call it "The Recovery."

Too bad that 99.99% of people are busy watching American Idol and Home reno shows so they have no idea what's going on or what comes next. Whole lot of people gonna be crucified in a single day...
