No one really cares about who the executive flunkies are that got jobs. We all just want to know when this nightmare will be over and we can walk away with what little cash is offered. Hopefully soon!
For those too lazy to open the link:
What will that process look like? Something like this:
Bass Pro Shops will layoff an as-yet undetermined number of Cabela’s employees in Sidney.
Bass Pro Shops will consolidate all operations into a single building on the current corporate campus.
Bass Pro Shops will retain the Cabela’s 125-person IT department and “significant” accounting divisions.
Cabala’s distribution will remain in Sidney.
A 12-person executive staff will oversee Cabela’s operations, including veterans from both companies. Among those, former Cabela’s CFO Ralph Castner, Director of Diversity and Talent Management Sarah Kaiser, and V.P of Accounting and Comptroller Sheila Dormann.
