Citrix Systems (CTXS) Grapples With Cost Woes: Time to Dump?

Even with layoffs and a bean counter in charge Citrix can't perform. What's next?

"High costs are limiting the company’s bottom-line growth and the fourth quarter is likely to be no different in this regard. Additionally, declining revenues from products also pose a severe challenge to the company."

"Shares of Citrix Systems have under performed the industry it belongs to in a year. The stock has declined 3.3% against the industry’s gain of 33.9% over the same period."

Sh--ty article with wrong facts though.

They say "Shares of Citrix Systems have under performed the industry it belongs to in a year. The stock has declined 3.3% against the industry’s gain of 33.9% over the same period.".

What they miss in the graph they have is how the stock prices reduced when LMI split happened and the revenue from those products for the year.

Look, I dislike being in Citrix right now and am looking to bail, but this is just sh--ty reporting

Citrix has lost its focus, they use to be an innovative company, that's why they would buy startups, and build them into their products. Acquisitions have stopped because of Elliot Management, they are going to tear this poor company apart!!!!

Under performing the industry. Declining when the rest are increasing. I guess that stock buy back hasn't been working like they planned.

CTXS is definitely whipping a dead horse. Just don’t understand where all the analyst market excitement is coming from
