Maybe Windstream should acquire some stability with what they have already have before acquiring more companies? Fix what you have. Just sayin’.

Hopefully Windstream did their homework prior to purchasing another CLEC...is the fiber facilities leased or owned? In prior CLEC purchases the fiber network that Windstream made such a great fit was leased facilities which resulted in loss of revenue and additional debt...not to wise of a decision, in my opinion...also the existing leased facilities in many cases were not sufficient for the much needed long haul not to mention the poor fiber records that no one knew what we had and what we didn’t...Windstream, again in my opinion has made several bad decisions. Finish the messes that you have created before adding more chaos and frustration. I believe from prior readings Windstream has several unsettled litigation cases as well. What a total mess! Oh by the way perhaps we should let MassComm leaders run this ship, it appears that is what Windstream loves to do when they make such purchases...they we can change the direction and guidance once again...a WIN WIN for everyone, NOT!

This moves makes no sense - the board needs to wake up! I have an idea Windstream - leverage and prodvide results on the assets you already have before talking on anything new. Maybe consider spending the cash on your current broken systems ,process and network. This is a company with no clear path to success...

Luckily they signed the deal in pencil & now are having second thoughts. What could have been MassComm.

This sounds like a good buy to me. We've been lacking for years in fiber in California, and this company has fiber in California. Anything to expand our fiber network out in the far west is a good move IMO.

Here we are once again buying more companies when Windstream is already in a financial catastrophe. Good job execs.

Once again, we're seeing things in the online news before it hits the lame intranet. Get the debt pushed out, spend more money. Insanity.
