Slb is planning to run the conglomerate on $30 oil.

Anyone has details or heard of this ? Apparently this is new extension to transformation program for 2018. Lord help us.

Now that I am outside of SLB is see how they do not value employees with experience. They hire the educated idiots and promote them up the ladder. I wish all you all the best in your new job search.

Yes, take 10 years to "transform". See what you can find out what your clients want. Bullkrapp...

Slb is an image of its clients: dirty, rotten, corrupt, unethical, backstabbing, geopolitically driven, broke yet partying, incompetent, mostly uneducated, azzkissing, and most of all insanely overpaid human waste.

So you find it normal that it takes over five years to basically upgrade, unify business systems and rationalize a bit the work processes. Slb is the dinosaur, not the industry.

What needs to change, and to change fast, are the services that we are delivering and the way we deliver them. Not our internal machinery. And that is the part "our transformation" got wrong (and so does the 4.0 thing). Because it requires a detailed understanding of our clients and their needs. An understanding nobody has in the inner-focused "transformation" team.

For years the most rewarded qualities in slb were the knowledge of slb internal processes and the networking with other slb people. Now we pay the price of this autistic management style.

The Transformation is a long term plan - if you were paying attention you would realize that the roadmap takes it into 2021 and beyond. If you are really worried I suggest you study up on the all the information out there as opposed to just writing crap on this board. The oil industry is a dinosaur and needs to change to survive (re auto industry in us in the 70s). If you are really hoping for things to go back to the good ole days ......you will have a long wait
