We had a reduction in force action that affected many people. We also had a few open positions that were backfills for people who had left. We were allowed to staff from the affected pool of people, ones that have GE knowledge, but will need trained for our specialty skillset jobs.
This makes the most sense during this reduction effort.

The fact that Sudbeck has gotten away with so much is why I have so little faith that GE will be able to recover this time. No integrity!

People like tephlon sudbeck and company get to pick who stays and who goes. Mean while they have numerous ombuds calls against them. Things will never change.
