EDMC will be closing its 4 remaining schools on January 8 and filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy immediately. As a result, the numerous cases of pending litigation against it will be stayed. This was all part of the plan.

All my stoner kids here in Colorado.
Which school is "freaking out?"
I know the students are freakin' out at my school. No point in teaching anything any more.
Any students here following these feeds?
Former head of midwest region told me the same thing. They will be filing for bankruptcy.
Heard from who? Chatty person on your campus? A president-in-hiding?
in hubba hubba's defense, i heard the same thing. closing remaining schools, then bankruptcy
So does hubba hubba think it’ll be next quarter now? It obviously wasn’t, you know, yesterday.
That's why the Dean of Ai-Pitt hasn't been there in over 50 days. Place is closing. Bankruptcy to follow.
See below:
Ai Pittsburgh Dean
Well the Dean hasn't been on campus since ..... Mid December I think. He must of used about 50+ "PT0" days last qtr. How does he still have a job ? Why doesn't anyone make him actually come into work ?

So hubba hubba is an idiot, right?
Covfefe!
"Buy" the way? Learn to spell before criticizing others, moron.
I'd like to "move" on these schools.
Bowel move that is.
Buy the way, that quasi legalese syntax of yours is idiotic know-it-all.
Repeat after me:
I like to leech off of society and steal money from unsuspecting youth, mothers, homeless, vets and drain parents bank accounts. I will not question and will turn a blind eye for this so called religious pyramid scheme.
Middle States has given their approval for the campuses to move under Dream Center, check the website, it was posted in December. -https://www.msche.org/institutions_recentactions_view.asp?dteStart=10/31/2017&dteEnd=11/16/2017&idCommitteeType=0&txtMeeting=Commission
HLC removed the Chicago campus from probation in November and gave their approval for the move to Dream Center in December, check the website, go under Recent Actions, look under the November 2017 updates.
Anyone saying the schools will close on January 8th have no facts to support the statements. If there are facts, someone please share, everyone would enjoy the opportunity to see them.
Most logical next step, the middle states and HLC campuses will move to Dream Center and at that point, EDMC will close, since all of the teach out campuses are done.
2018 - Happy New Year!
Ai Pitts and Philly do have Middle States and that's part of the problem. Middle States has objected to the DC plan because they don't believe it's a real transition from profit to non profit and thus held up the sale.
The sale went through without the Middle States schools. This is throwing a monkey wrench into the plans to have former AICIS schools as (very distant) branch campuses of Pitts.
January 8th students go back?
Illinois institute of art has multiple campuses, fyi. Chicago, Schaumburg, and, I believe, novi michigan. Not sure if Tinley Park already closed?
it is amazing the two doofuses from devry who were unceremoniously fired by the company are now hired by edmc: the former president and the chief marketing officer. it must say something about the person doing the hiring.
Why January 8th?
At this point... trying to convince you is only a waste. Just say I've been here longer than most at the corporate level and know a thing or two. You do you.... all I'm saying.
EDMC did go belly up last year. Closing the remaining 4 schools is a very logical conclusion.
Got any proof of your wise prediction, Nostradamus? You sound a lot like the guy who was absolutely certain edmc would go belly up last year.
Thought I’d give you the courtesy of a heads up.
what's nonsense?
nonsense.
Not to my knowledge.
Do students know this?
So when do the layoffs start at the ridiculously bloated Scheme Center?
I thought Pittsburgh had middlestates?
Sweet... who says trolling scum and pushing the truth doesn’t pay off.
Ai-Phil, Ai-Pitt, Ai-Colorado, and Illinois Inst. of Art
Which schools are still under EDMC?
