I was part of the Layoff in Santa Clara, had 2 months off, on my way to starting a new job, so happy this happened! Wish everyone still there the best!

I'm not sorry I was laid off in October. I felt stagnant and definitely unappreciated in my last position. Citrix keeps bad management and lets the good people go. Being intuitive and innovative was slapped down at every turn. I was ready to go.
The relief in not having to worry about layoffs is great, that was the one thing that was really nice about Mark Templeton, he didn't to have to go though layoffs when it happened under him, but it was one and done!
The company is in a strong position, so it's strange that they are bending over backwards for Elliot Management, and very sad at the same time.
It must be nice to be looking forward to your work future and not over your shoulder for the knife in the back.
Congrats, Citrix up till now never had an issue with finding great talent but the issue was retaining them, though now it's a different Citrix, it will find difficult to hire good talent as its culture is taken a complete downward turn.
