Thread regarding Mildred Elley layoffs

Scam

I worked in Admission for Mildred Elley for a while and can state that they scam people into enrolling. Not all of them but we are told to say things that are so car salesman like.

All my credits from Mildred elley are all non-transferable as I am not going to Kingsborough for the nursing program. It's really sad and disheartening the amount of time and effort I put into all my classes to get my Associates there and be told only 1 BS school takes their credits (another scam). And now basically the past 2 years of going to this school (with all A and Bs nontheless) was a waste of time and nothing to show for. And I still owe all the student loans. Real cute.

It’s still going on. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the only school around that they get enrollments or what.

ME has been scamming students for years. After working with other schools, this is not unusual, but usually it is individual admissions reps trying to make their goal to keep their job. At Mae, it was encouraged from management.

I worked in Albany and can tell you it's not just NYC that happens.
