The APC show is ends for me in 2018. I am done boys and girls, no threats, no requests for management, I am tired of pay stagnation, VCP removal and now AIP "adjustment". It is time for greener pastures. I will miss most all of you guys and gals. Good luck! FYI. It is better to be a "green badge at APC.

"Feild" ?
It’s spelled “feild” you idiot. Get back to work!
They should have left the field people as they were, efficient and dedicated.
A handfull of conscientious fieldmen can save the Company more money and eliminate future headaches better than a whole floor of well dressed brown nosers that don't evev know if the "i" comes before the "e" in field.
APC has been on a hiring binge for about a year now. Would you really want to come back here? Think about it. The worst performers are running the show. The ppt Kings. The pr queens. The color coded meeting jesters. There are more layers now than before 16. Some might dispute this, but it’s true in practice. And many positions are consolation prizes that add zero benefit to the bottom line. Other than keeping the entitled from throwing tantrums.
Who cares if APC gets a less bonus or no raise. They fired me and they can want more but I need a job
Short fat guys rule
"If you have been on the business for more than 5 years like all the millennial , you know that sometimes there are no raises or bonuses. We used to call it the “bone” us. Get over it APC. 😂"
This statement makes absolutely zero sense.
If you have been on the business for more than 5 years like all the millennial , you know that sometimes there are no raises or bonuses. We used to call it the “bone” us. Get over it APC. 😂
Since the loss of VCP, stagnation (market inflation baked in) and adjustment to bonuses (meaning cut your target bonus pay in half) means that I’m slated to have lost approximately 30% of my compensation since 2014. Im pretty sure daddy Walker and LT haven’t taken that deep of a hit. 30 f’n %%
Have you noticed Big Al is trying every Wall Street gimmick that he can? This speaks volumes of how little he truly understands the Oil and Gas business that was handed to him by his predecessor. He should be selling plastic crap for some Chinese toy manufacturer.
APC lost most of the talent to actually be a lean and mean oil and gas company a while back. No other company has been on a hiring spree for the past two years to compensate for the cluster phyudge he and his yes men created.
I would have been happy with a pay cut in 2015 if we could all be assured that we would keep our jobs and that pay would bounce back to normalcy when it was over. I realize some of my coworkers were useless and others would have sat around with too little to do. But I would have avoided the stress that we've endured for the last two years and a lot of colleagues would have moved on voluntarily.
But now that there's been 25%+ headcount reduction, oil prices are in the high 50s and gas is up too, executives still paid top in the market, and personnel costs won't make a dent in the quarterly losses (mostly depreciation), why another pay cut? Do they assume that if you've stuck it out this long you'll put up with anything? That you have no alternatives?
Your not going to stick around for the year end town hall to hear the execs sell us on why pay stagnation is a good thing? I adore hearing Big Al talk, that silver tongued fox. After every town hall I find myself in need of a dry pair of panties.
Well said.
