They won't need more office room after they let go the Californians.
@hti, Chevron hedged their bet already when it purchased a prime piece of land next to the two former Enron buildings in downtown Houston. Chevron has the winning hand in the card game out in California. If the State of California squeezes us any harder, Chevron will threaten to pull out that Ace and move it’s HQ from San Ramon. Often times it is a good strategy to talk softly but carry a big stick. Someday, maybe that little patch of land in downtown Houston will become Chevron’s new home office.

Why are we still in California? Time to leave this high cost, high tax state. OXY figured this out. Am sure we will eventually figure this out as well.
