Shrink was always a problem even back in the good old days it just never made the news like it does now.
This is the direct result of reckless cost cutting preceded by poor planning and financial irresponsibility. A few years ago, any attempt at a firearm theft resulted in immediate corrective action. Today, who cares? So what if we lose a few guns? In reality, it's not worth the cost of having an asset protection team or managers and employees that care. It's the cost of doing business. There have been more gun thefts in the past 12 months, than in the previous 20 years combined. I am shocked that the ATF has not revoked our firearms license or levied heavy fines for gross negligence. It will happen again.
