I hear employees are grouping to join unions to avoid massive layoffs or favoritism when it comes to layoffs. NY, Arizona, Rhode Island and NJ are joining Unions.
Management in NY/NJ/CT/RI are becoming closer to their buddies to find which ones to abuse and lay off.
It takes 15 days to join union and your protected ASAP. We did this in NYC after they started threatening us. Management in ny was joking and laughing as they threaten with layoff and that we are not as good as the floor they walk in.

Too late to play the union card. Company will just lay them off and there are always people who need a paycheck, who will gladly keep working under the current conditions.
