Attrition

Now that RSUs vested and bonus paid for the year, how is the attrition trend in your teams? Last week a bunch of key people in our team resigned. I am very concerned about the work load for those of us left behind and success of projects.

People leave all the time, for various reasons. The bonus was paid for last year's effort and it's not a retention tool - RSUs are. Note that a '4' means above average which is '3' == proficient. Your team might have a rating inflation!

If there is a business need, there will be a replacement requisition. Shaking would not help, instead, stand up to the challenge and it will be your road to move up the ladder and succeed.

One person on my team is talking about leaving, but they are a "4" performer at best with few RSUs. Their timing is based on finding someone to hire them. My money says they will be here a year from now.

Attrition at QCT Quality is 0% because these folks cannot go anywhere, plus they have 0 skills. These guys are shaking like a Chihuahua as they will be layoff as soon BCOM acquire QC.
