These brutal cuts will continue to strip out the knowledge from the company and it is that that puts the future of the company at risk

GE has been gutted out
There used to be world class experts, and tribal knowledge was maintained by strong technical leadership.
Now few GE managers or people in positions of authority know much about the business, customers, or products. The consequences of this has destroyed the cost structure and capabilities of the organizations and especially in the service business where you really have to know the products and product history
GE is a mess now because they lost their tribal knowledge and ability to execute.
What about GE's so called Knowledge Capture and Transfer program?
