Age discrimination has been a big part of Noble's plan since they started laying people off in 2015. They usually make more money... everyone knows it. Nobody wants to work at Noble except those who can't get hired anywhere else. Those capable of getting hired elsewhere have left already.
yes. Unless you are part of senior or executive management. If you are over 50 and not a VP, SVP, EVP, or DS, then you need to pull out your resume before you get too old to get hired somewhere else.

Yes Noble is getting rid of people with 20 years experience and replacing them with people who have two years experience. That's what you do when you are the K-Mart of the oil & gas industry.
Also important to check the experience levels of those leaving and who is being hired. Hiring at the lowest salaries and encouraging people with higher salaries to leave is not a sign of good times ahead.
