I never regreted my departure that took place this August - I know you are going through cuts right now, good luck there. We all knew that job cuts are coming to BD. I took off as I was disgusted by all office politics and this was mostly fueled by BD’s acquisitions of CareFusion and now BARD – all, and I really mean ALL leaders were using the turmoil and shifts to position themselves and take care of their careers.
If you work at the HQ in Franklin Lakes you know that I am talking about. For all of you who are still there you will be faced with a difficult choice – BD is still great in many respects but you will be likely be associating yourself with leadership that could care less about healthcare and is focused on her/his career and personal gain. Add a dose of layoffs to this, you are facing an interesting situation. It’s your call, it’s your career.
