The company has been all about smoke and mirrors for years. Massage the numbers until it makes the shareholders happy even when there is nothing new coming and the only way to keep showing a profit is to cut past the bone until the limb falls off. The intellectual property of the company is usually held by a guy who thinks IP is the name of his outsourced comrade down the hallway in India or Mexico. If you are a white American, they don't want you. They can hire 10 people from another country to do your job, if they know how, which they won't, but they won't care. They will tell them to do it anyways. Then, you'll get blamed for not being able to transfer 20 years of knowledge to a guy that can barely tie his shoes or speak English. Colgate is one of the most un-American, racist (anti-white) companies I have ever seen. I can't wait for their smoke machine to break and investors see what the company is really like.

Corporate Games... Simply the Best!!!
The mood has definitely shifted since GGEP...at first it made some sense....then it was to squeeze more out of fewer people...now it is just ridiculous. I left by my own choice as I also saw the numbers and strategy not making sense. The hopes for the company are either be bought out or focus on the future, not quarter to quarter. The stock buyback game isn't going to last forever. You'd think with the dow up so much in 2017 that CP stock would have done even better.
True of many companies post 2009. Buyback your own stock with cash, then when the cash runs out, borrow to buy your own stocks, then when that runs out sell stuff to buy back stocks, and now the last phase, lay people off to create cash.
They call it a Recovery.
I call it BS.
And it will end very badly.
