Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

BED BATH AND BEYOND UPDATE PART#2 INSIDER PDATE CEO OF BED BATH AND BEYOND. Please fIND my older post. Regarding CEO Steven H. Temares

I guess you forget to realize that every manager that you laid off, they will tell their families, their friends, post on social media, you just hurt your company badly!!!!! by the time all this gets out and word-of-mouth and on social media... well bath and beyond in-store sales will drop, who wants to shop at a store, that that the CEO Steven H. Temares does not care about its people. Well good luck bed bath and beyond, let's just see how long after this you still stay ahead. You just lost some great people. Like you said the best advertisement is word-of-mouth, well I guess bed Bath and beyond will eat its own words.

Well sales update..!!!

August stock sale price. $30.00 share

September $29.00 to 21.00 share

“Released of 2nd quarter earnings”

October $19.50 share

“Stock is going down fast, company total asset is 53 billion dollars that is not good for a company of this size, they should be in the trillions for those that don’t know or understand. This price would be ok for a start up company or level 2, bed bath and beyond is a level 3 but asset reduced to a level 2 and dropping fast, that’s why bed bath and beyond is one level away from junk stock.”

So yes if you think your job is safe!!! Please think again, if you have been with the company more than 8 plus years and are making 50k plus you are going to last, store managers, sorry to say your job is done by December- why!!! Because they will keep the DM AND PUT THEM IN STORES JUST TO SAVE THERE JOB!!!

So get out now!!! ASM/SM RUN !!!!!!! Because DM AND UP WILL TAKE JOBS FIRST BEFORE THEY GET LET GO.......

Also once the stores lease is up!!! Store will close.

Also company is sealing and working a deal should close December or January.

And you might not Even get a severance package. Good luck to all and hope the best.

The people that have not moved on can’t find a job, maybe are homeless, suffering immensely. You need sensitivity training. Grow up!

So much bitterness still from 6 months later. Have you not moved on by now? Your sadly hopeful wishes for more major cuts ahead are unfounded. Yes what happened was sad but wow please move on. Already. Way over. due.

The stores in the Midwest look horrendous. Still no job after 3 and a half months and I’m getting worried. Maybe I should apply at Bbb at the 6 month mark! Lol

Look at the stores, terrible condition, empty and poor selections. Any normal shopper can spot poor management, lack of sales force on the floor, they can see this company is in trouble! Bed Bath and Beyond has nothing to sell that you can’t get for the same price at other retailer, you can actually get help at the other retailers.

I hope and pray little bbb goes down in flames. You remaining managers already have a heads up so run now or don’t complain later.

I noticed that the December Cobra payment was about $70.00 higher. I called Wage Works Cobra and asked them why. they said that Bed Bath and Beyond only paid the subsidy until December 22, 2017. Yet another stab to the heart! You know that it goes to the full Cobra price starting January 1, 2018! Bed Bath and Beyond at snakes in the grass! May you rot in hell Steve Temares!

I have and my family and friends have boycotted Bed Bath and Beyond need to get the word out regarding this company how they are not loyal to the managers that worked there finger to the bone. All our hard was for nothing. I would rather buy something with no coupon and pay more money then shop there. You will never get my money. The managers that got let go need to get together. Bitter your damn right I am

As for Amazon, another lie, just a scapegoat.

Online retail makes up 8-9% of total retail and Amazon is only a fraction of that 9%, so Amazon isn't doing this, it's happening because since 2009, all we've had is an enormous bubble created by loose lending, 7 year car loans, bubbles everywhere.

Now they're popping, because McDonald's employees driving 60K SUV's and students borrowing 250K is not sustainable.

Stop listening to the mainstream media and start doing research. There you will find out what's really going on.

The revenue drop has nothing to do with the public finding out about the management and everything to do with the current economic climate, which is why every retailer is going down. It's also why the layoffs happened in the first place.

You want to believe it's the other way around but that's wishful thinking.

The entire retail sector and economy is in a tailspin, but of the course the media and government won't tell you that. They'll tell you all is well, economy growing. etc, etc.

All lies.
