Breeze axed?

Is it true Breeze/EDP/Zephyr or whatever it's latest name is, has been taken out back with a shotgun to put it (and everyone else) out if its misery?

well with Breeze/Oceana's biggest champion, GB, on his way out the door, who knows what will come of the platform.

You don't think "the next set of early adopters" won't be adopting Mitel or Cisco or whatever?

Put yourself in the position of a purchasing decision maker, look at the long line of bad decisions made by Avaya, and ask yourself "what reasons do I have to believe they will get it right this time"?

Would be some difficult conversations with customers to completely drop Oceana. Concept good, architecture awful. Would make sense to fix the architecture, keep the branding and provide a migration path for early adopters, if they're left hanging it would be harder to recruit the next set of early adopters.

Outside of license bundles, breeze sales was next to non existent. The concept was good, but the customer base just wants phones on desks.

Oceanas footprint is embarrassing.

Oceana needs a good hard re-design. It cannot be our flagship until it can seamlessly replace CC Elite.

Heard it was Oceana that was getting dropped due to poor sales.
