Good news - just found a very large abundance of coal in aberdeen. Our future is assured.
I am not a Nationalist so this is not an SNP gripe, but Aberdeen has not shared in the wealth generated by Oil and Gas. It has all gone to the UK government. Our "International" airport is a total joke. Our roads are gridlocked daily and the AWPR is 30 years too late. Yes many individuals have made their own wealth out of O&G, but the City hasnt. It is embarassing to call Aberdeen the Oil Capital of Europe, because it is nowhere near the likes of Houston, Dubai etc etc. I guess when the Oil companies leave we will get the Fishing Trawlers out of the mothballs.

Made the biggest mistake of moving here for a job years ago and hated it ever since.
Never met so many horrible people in one very little up there own arse city.
As I say so happy the place is falling apart and the oil industry is getting worse all the time.
Counting the seconds till i leave and happy that no matter what will never return.

Aberdeen is a vacation hotspot. Lunchtime we can go catch some rays on Balmedie or take a walk in Duthie Park, nibbling on oor salmon and blue mustard crust less sandwiches. If you can’t make it here then you have problems wee laddie
